A Barque Becalmed.
> -O i Per Press Association; _ NEW PLYMOUTH, March IG. 'At eleven o'clock yesterday morning the barque Onyx, from l-'ort Chalmers to Now Plymouth, became becalmed some four juilessouth of Cape Egrnont and dropped her anchor: About two o'clock the Takaputoa, which was going South, was signalled and, went to the Onyx's assistance, towing her tea good offing. The barque toad not put in appearance up to, ten o'clock this morning, but as there was a head v.'md last night it is thought Captain Duncan, put far out to sea.
