Received March 2, at S.lO a.m. LONDON,, March 1. ihe Standard's Tokio correspondent says two thousand -officers and men volunteered for the work of blocking Port Arthur harbour. Many wrote requests in their own blood.
The correspondents of the Times are successfully utilising the De Forrest system of othergrams -between, Chemulp'ho and Wei-Hai-Wei.
