The match was, therefore, 'drawn, the first innings not being1 completed. ' The bowling for Palmerston was done by Hammond (four for 27), Chisholm (1 for 21), and Drew (1 for 5); for Midland the bowlers were—J. Wallace (four for 42). L. Wallace (4 for 33), R. Baker (1 for 8).
