THE TEAM FOR AUSTRALIA

(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The management committee of the New Zealand llugby Union met to-night. Tlie following were appointed to pick tlie New Zealand representative team for tlie New South Wales and Queensland tour :

—Messrs P. Murray (Auckland), C! G. I'Viche (Wolliiuftoii), I' 1. T. K- vans (Christchurcb), and the fourth selector to be this week appointed by tlie . Ota go Hugby Union. The selectors are to meet in Wellington not later than the 20th Juno to pick tlie team which will leave for Australia on the 11th .July. This team is to play a match with Wellington on the day& < :cX&£&.C&£.j;£, lington on the same day as they depart for Sydney. It was decided to suggest to the New South Wales Union that the last match bo played at Sydney on Tuesday, 18th August., the team to leave for homo from Sydney on the 19th August. it was unanimously resolved that the North v. South Island match be played at Auckland on Wednesday, :20th August, the teams to be selected by the aforesaid selectors for their respective islands.
