A meeting of (lie Midlaiul Hockey Club was held in the Itiyal Hotel last, nigLt, Mi- A. Webb in the chair. The captain, Mr J. Skdley. resigned iv favour of Mr K..Shortt.* The subserip-' tiou to the junior team was fixed at 2s Od. ISTames of j'ntendirin; members must be forwarded to th». secretary before Monday evening. It was decided to heid a Club run from the Occidental Hotel corner, every Monday evening at 7.30 o'clock.
The Campbell-street School Old Girls met iast nialit and decided to form a ILx-kc.v Club. A practice will probablbe held on Wednesday next.
