/■ Loa-dox, Wednesday. At the wool S'.\le of Buxtou. Balme Jacomb and Hoare, the catalogue comprised 8,675, Australian bales and 3,501 bales from Punlas Arenas. There was an unusually large attendance, buyers being present from all quarters and competition was excited in all Forts. Compared with the March closing rates Merinos were at par to five per cent, advance, fine crossbred five to seven and a half, medium and long fully ten per cent; similar advances in lambs and clothing wools. Continental buyers were operating strongly in crossbreds. Received to-day at \2A r'. :• m LONDON. Yesterday. The wool sales are firm and yesterday's opening rates are fully maintained. Merinos are quiet at five per cent, above the closing rates of March series. WHEAT SUPPLY. The American visible wheat supply is estimated at 52,555,000 bushels..
