We have three sawmills at work on the Tiratu Block, Dannevirke, famous for its splendid mixture of fine forest, consisting; of Totara, Matai, Rimu, White Pine, &c.—no picking where other mills have cut out the best. And unjone wanting a new dwelling-house or sheds and shelter for stocks and farms cannot do better than send their orders along before the fine New Zealand timber disappears or becomes too dear to be bought.
