Broaching Cargo.
(Per Press Assscol-Hlon.) WELLINGTON. Mon4_f. iiKlerbill, a wharf labourer, was committed for trial on a charge of broaching cargo. The Magistrate saitl not only the character of the. prisoner, but the character of the port was on trial. Mr Wilford, for the prosecution, said tbe Union Co. had paid _.10G for pilla.ged goods in the last -1 months. Ariothcr wharf labourer, similarly charged, was remanded.
