The ordinary monthly meeting of the Pohttogina branch of the Farmers' Union was held in the Hall. Mr E. Akeis occupied the chair. The minutes of previous meeting were confirmed as read It was resolved, that the hon. sec. forward all insurance notices to members who have net already been supplied. Pi-oposeu by Mr Close and seconded by Mr Scott, that, in the event of any important business being conioiuuiuated to the secretary, a copy of same to be posted to memb°rs of committee one week previous to the following meeting; that futuro meetings be held on second Saturday in each month, at 1.30 p.m., in ihe Public Hall, providing satisfactory arrangements can be made re hire of Hall.
