(Per Press Association.) iNVERCAHGirx, January 8. Three members of the surrey party on the West Coast, about'lo miles from Orepuki—Lillicrona, Otway and Hamill —were crossing tho river when they were carried out by the current among breakers and the boat capsized. Hamill, who was a good swimmer, tried to reach the shore, but was drowned. The other /two stuck to the upturned boat and were cast up on the -bench exhausted.
