FIRE IN WELLINGTON.

(Per Press Association.) Wellington, November 2. _ A three-storey wood and iron buildiug, •in Victoria-street, owned by the Australian Widows Fund Insurance Company, and occupied by Messrs McKee and Co., printers, and Mrs Mayer, shirt manufacturer, was totally destroyed by fire .this morning. The building was insured in'the Guardian for £1000, and Commercial Union for £500. McKee's plant and stock is insured'for £2068 in various offices, and Mrs Mayer's £300 in the New Zealand, and Sargood, Son and Ewcn, who had material at her factory for making up, for £100 in the New Zealand.
