(From Our Own Correspondent.) In connection with No. 7 Ward, it
wa3 decided at the Eoad :—That
ho contracts be granted by this Tioard , in which the contractors will be allowed to take metal from the Gorge gravel pit; and that the engineer be instructed, when gravel is required by the Board from that pit, that the same be obtained •• by day labor; the embankment to be properly bevelled, and the pit afterthat l be refers to the boundary oE the Domain.
