CRICKET.

A committee meeting of the Campbell street Old Boys' Cricket Club was held last evening in Mr Palmer's Auction Mart. Present—Mr C. H. Warden (in. the chair), D. Fraser, H. Beale, A: Tew, S. Watson and F. Oakley. During the meeting correspondence was read from several officers of the club and received with' thanks. It was resolved that the Old Boys' Cricket Club should not support Mr Pegler's motion re a levy of 6d to be imposed (for the purpose of defraying the cost of entertaining' visiting teams, etc.) on all players who took part in any of the Association matches. The meeting then adjourned with the usual vote of thanks to the chairman.
