THEATRE ROYAL.
Adjutants Hutchinson and Bensley gave'splendid services at the Theatre Royal yesterday. The lecture on the workings of the ' social machine, a groat human power of love\in action; the account of the last hours in the condemned cell, the miraculous couversions, after confession and restitution, the accounts given showed light after darkness, many of the hearers sobbed with gratitude and sympathy. To-night the operator, who is an expert,: will bring the Bioscope to play. This machine is on its first tour, and is the latest perfection in kincmatography. The pictures are life-size and quite steady, arid the lecture is Commandant Herbert Booth's best product and embraces 200 illustrations. The object of the visit being the furtherance of the social work in the colony, a good aud large crowd is expected to-night. Tickets at the door. '
