AUCKLAND MARKETS.

Auckland, July 19. Messrs Buckland and Sons reports that for the winter sale there was a large muster of stock at Ruriciman on Wednesday, for which there was spirited bidding throughout. Dairy cows, of which there was over 100 yarded, brought from £4 10s to, £8 12s 6d, few being sold under £5 ss. Store cattle of all classes were in demand, strong calves bringing from 35s to 40s each, yearlings of either sex £2 10s to £3, 2 to 2 j year steers £4 to £5 ss, drycows £2 10s to £4 10s. Fat stock fully up to Remuera prices. Small pigs 8s each. On Monday, at Pokeno, there was an average muster of dairy cattle predominating, and all sold freely. Cows ranged in price from £5 to £6 15s each, calves 25s to 355, 18-months steers £3 10s, dry cows £2 10s to £4.

At Remuera on Thursday dairy cows were permed in usual numbers, and sold freely. Prices for those at profit ranged from £5 10s to £8 2s 6d; no store cattle were yarded. Fat calves in moderate numbers were at late values. Fresh dropped brought from 4s to Bs, medium 12s to 15s,>eavy up to £2 lis (55 sold). Fat cattle,"penned m average numbers, and all of prime quality, were a shade under last week's quotations, and brought from 19s to 22s the 1001b for steers and heifers, aged cows 17s to 18s. Steers ranged in price from £6 19s to £9 17s 6d, cows £4 7s 6d to £6 (240 sold). There was less than tho average number of sheep yarded, and not all of first-class quality. Wethers brought from 14s to 17s 3d, ewes 10s to 15s, fat lambs, 8s to 15s each, store 4s to 7s, ewes in lamb 10s 1 (1100 sold). Pigs were well represented I and fully kept late values, porkers bringing from £1 to.£llos, stores 14s to 18s, small 3s to 10s .110' sold).
