THE LINDLEY SURRENDER.

In the House of Commons recently, the Seoretary of State for War said the facts connected with the court of inquiry in regard to the Lindley surrender had only reaohed him by the last mail. They entirely exonerated from blame Uolonel Sprague and his regiment. There were, however, persons who required censure, and, in his opinion, more than censure. After telegraphing to Lord Roberts he had had to take steps for dismissing two from the Army, and other steps would be taken against a third person. (Cheers.)
