The Argus characterises Mr Barton's references to the tariff as "indefinite phrases," and concludes that the federal tariff will be one of moderate protection. The Hon. J. A. Isaacs (Attorney-Gen-eral) will decide on Monday whether ho will accept the State Premiership or enter the Federal Parliament.
