Supreme Court.

(Per Press Association.)

Hokitika, September 2.

Tho Supreme Court sessions began this morning before Mr Justice Martin. The calendar includes two charges of murder against a Chinaman for killing two countrymen near Reef ton, a charge of forgery against a representative of a mining syndicate at Charleston and a charge of indecent assault from Reefton. His Honor gave a lengthy charge to the grand jury, which is now considering the bills. W. A. Jones, charged with breaking the terms of his probation, was sentenced to two years, His Honor believing a long term of imprisonment was best for a prisoner who was evidently a confirmed dipsomaniac.
