CLEVER CAPTURE OF BOERS.
London, August 30. Further particulars have been roreived of the recent Boer attack on Winburg, in Orange River Colony.
It appears that during the fight-ing eight Capo Volunteers souticd and took possession of a donga at the rear of the enemy. When the Boers retired up the donga twenty eight of them were captut ed, among them Jbeing Commandant Olivier and his three sons.
Observing two hundred more Boers approaching, the Volunteers fired with great rapidity, lrilJing six of their opponents. The rent of the commando fled, and the prisoners were returned to camp.
The incident was a miniature of what occurred at Sannas Post, where De Wei. ambushed Broadwood's Brigade.
