NEWS FROM PEKIN.
London, August 22. The walls of the Inner City at Pekin were dynamited and the Imperial Palace captured on the 17th. Thcrs wero no signs of the Empress Dowager. Four thousand armed Christian converts assisted the allies. Stubborn street fighting continues. Large forces from Honan province aro massing at the rear of the allies. It is believed that the Tientsin to Pekin telegraph lino has been interrupted.
