London, May 18. England is awaiting the relief of Mafeking. There is excitement in every town. Probably there will be no news before Monday. MAFEKING BELIEVED AT LAST. (Official telegram). Received May 18, at 1.10 p.m. Sydney, May 19. Mafeking has been relieved. Extraordinary Press Association, Received May 19, at 1.33 p.m.
Sydney, May 19. The Sydney Telegraph has received a message from Adelaide that the news of the relief of Mafeking authentic.
(Extraordinary Press Association). Received May 19, at 1.56 p.m. London, May 18. Mafeking has been relieved. Sydnky, May 19. The flag just hoisted at the Post Office announcing the official confirmation of the relief of Mafeking, has caused immense enthnsiasm.
