Additions made to Abraham and Williams' Palmerston Annual Sheep Fair,
Mr C. H. Hinman will lecture on " The Tabernacle " at the Gospel Hall to-night.
A concert and dance will be held at the Linton Hall on Thursday next in aid of the " More Men Fund."
The funeral of the late James Morris will leave his late residence, Campbellstreet, at 2 p.m. to-morrow.
Fresh Stewart Island oysters can be had by the bottle, plate, or kit at Harty's Supper and Refreshment Rooms.
Special attention is directed to a new advertisement from the U.F.C.A., which will be found over the leader to-day.
Gorton & Son will hold an important sale of dairy stock at Mr C. Hopping's farm, Rongotea, on Wednesday, 28th February.

At 1.30 p.m. to-morrow Harry Palmer will hold a sale of furniture, farm tools, cows, pigs and poultry on Mij«L Barnett's .premises, Boundary road... Matthew Henry holds an unreserved ■cfearing sale of household furniture and effects at Mr Joseph Beale's residence, Rangitikei Line, on February 28th.
Messrs Abraham & Williams will hold a clearing sale, on account of Sir James Prendergast, of 10,000 well-bred Lincoln sheep at their saleyards to-morrow.
