The Camp.
Another alarm was sounded at the Volunteer camp this morning. No. 3. Section, under Sergeant Eade, who were preyiously supplied with ammunition, crept noiselessly out of their tent at 3.30 am. and opened fire on the camp. Every man was on his feet at the bugle call, and within a few minutes all we're out and defending the lines, under Lieutenant Watt. After manoeuvring for some time the men were called in and dismissed.
. At 4.30 a.m. tho "fall-in" was -founded and the Company-were driven in E. Stevenson's dra,ga..-,to..,th&Hoko- ! whitu. range for the purpose of getting JSS^JSt - witl V t^--«Mw-_«TSTOltey.«;_ad •Haeje^dent firmg. Sergeant-Major, Dewar*was m attendance, "ancfexpressed" satisfied at the good' gj^Wtoyj^aiat were fired. A good score "Utit&PM UP* but as there are yet a few more men to fire, the result will not be known until they are finished.
