. ♦ In our obituary notice -will be foundrecorded the deaths' of the father and mother of Mr Thomas Manson o£ Palmerston North. The sad news was received by the Frisco Mail on Monday evening. The aged pair died within a fortnight of each other, at their native place, Ki! mar nock, Scotland. In each case we learn that the cause of death was heart disease, . probably attributable to ' age and physical. • debility. The. late ■ father and mother of our townsman were well-known in Palmerston, which place they left upwards of two years ago to take up "their residence in the land of their birth, Mr Manson and his family .also goingrwith them. The latter re-, turned to the Colony, leaving the old people at Home, and the shock T>f the * news of their unexpected death will be severely felt by them. Many will deeply sympathise with the mourners in their affliction.
