There have been considerable quantities of potatoes consigned to this market of late, which has had the effect of mak. ing prices recede, and tor a time causing a perfect put! ; the samples are very irregular, and, consequently, a standard rule cannot be given ; we quote from £3 per ton ex ship. Oats are offering freely, and remain at last quotations— 2s 3d to 2s 6d per bushel ; oatmeal, dull at £12 ; * black oats, 2s 9d to 3s.
