The former honse is to bo caHed the Hunter- . ville Hotel and the latter the Argyle Hotel. ■ " A meeting of the Kiwitea School Committee was held m the Public-hall on the 3rd instant, at which it was unanimously agreed to erect a school house. Arrangements were also made to rent a building and to make such improvements as will make it a suitable residence tor the teacher. The following gentlemen have been elected members of the Parewanui School Commitisa : — Messrs J. T. Dalrymple, D. Fraser, D. Campion, D. Scott T. Atnon, A. Amon, and W. Mclvenzie. Mr Dal rymple has been elected chairman of the committee. The Bulls public school will not be ro-ooened till Tuesday, May 25th. In conHequenco of this long and unexpected vacation through the prevalence of diptlieria m the township, there will be no midwinter holidays this year. j
