Fearful Accident.

The General Post Office was the scene of another terrible aud fatal accident yesterday morning /any* the Sydney Daily Telegraph of the 16th inst), when an old and experienced workman named Thomas Bradshaw lost his life. He caught hold of it, but by an ill chance it swuug loose, sud unable to recover himself the unfortunate man reeled over, gave a short despairing scream, and then fell headlong downwards. He whirled ronnd and Tound until he .reached the ornamented stone coping of the main building,' which he struck with terribje force, and then rebounding, fell a distance of between 80 and 90 feet more, dropping with a heavy thud on to a pile of ladders, planks,|and building material. Life of course was extinct, and the body lay on the ground an almost unrecognisably mutilated mass, presenting a shocking spectacle. Death must have ensued long before the ground was reached.
