(by electkh: tblegbaph. — copyright.) (bujtkr's tblegbalcß.) Melbourne, Wednesday. The introduction of the shilling tariff for ten word telegrams between Victoria and New South Wales has proved a splendid success, traffic having increased fully one third, while the falling off of the revenue department lias been but slight. Negotiations have been m progress with the New Zealand Telegraph Department to reduce their share of revenue to sixpence per ten words, m order to admit of the rate between Victoria and that colony being reduced to 7s.
