The Endymion Hotel.
In the Feilding E.M. Court on Wad-, nesday James Ewing was charge 4 an, the inform&tion of Mauriqe X, Samuel with using threatening language towards the latter on the 6th inst. whereby coinplainant sought tohave defendant bound' over to keep the peace towards him. 'Among the threats : alleged to have been made use of: were that Ewing had qaid he would give anybody J^ls to kill §amuel, and would Hke to boil him dawn !for this fat, and put his head into a b6x';;on another occasion defendant said if \he got Samuel into the bush he would not come out alive. The defendant seated he hald spent .£2OO at Samuel's Hotel during September and October, The cAse was finally adiournecl till the 24th inst;, Ewing also sued Samuel for :J>lOQ,; money payable to plaintiff on account of sttm's' received by defendant tor use of plaintiff; and also charging defendant with inciting plaintiff, to drink and gamble on the. premises of the Endymion Hotel, A\?a^ huri.
