Attention is directed to Messrs Wollerman and Hutcheson's very important announcement appearing elsewhere. The firm has a very large stockof goods suitable for the approaching festive season including some special brands of liquors for which their establishment has such an extensive reputation. Swainson, first At-torney-General of the colony, is dead. Mr Booth, the Temperance Reformer, purposes to visit New Zealand at January next, and will open his mission with a series of addresses. The Home Government propose during the next five years to spend live millions and a halt m building and equipping cruisers, besides the expenditure m iron-dads and harbor defences.
