Auckland Live stock and Produce Markets.

| Messrs Hunter and Noland's Report. — Horses : — Dullness has characterised the demand. A great many were brought forward, but many remain unsold. A large number were again entered at the Durham yards on Friday,; bidding was languid, and sales were difficult to effect, although several horses held over from the previous week found purchasers. We quote a decline of fully 10s per head on the previous week's rates. Cattle : There has been no further drop m value, but prices are ruinous to shippers, and little local stock has been brought forward. The Newmarket yards were amply supplied on Tuesday, and prices were generally a shade higher than on the previous week, although they fluctuated from 17s 6d to 22s per lOOlbs. Sheep : A good many have been brought forward, and prices ruled low, selling at from Is 4d to Is 8d per 81bs ; lambs, from 5s 9d to 12s 6d. Pigs: I Only a few came forward ; prices unchanged. Mr Alfred Buckland's Weekly Report. — At the Hay market. On Friday, November 21. Horse stock were m full numbers, and those m good condition maintained late values, but those m low condition were at moderate prices. At Remuera, on Thursday, store cattle were m full numbers, prices lower than for many months. Four year steers m moderate condition, £3 15s ; three-year old £2 15s ; yearlings, £1 . 10s, were the ruling prices. Fat cattle m usual number, and dull of sale, no improvement on last week's values. Good steers, from 18s to 20a the lOOlbs. Fat sheep m short supply, but with no improvement m value. Napier wethers fatted m Waikato barely averaged 12s. Lambs plentiful, and at slightly lower values ; best quality at Us. Fat calves nume-t rous, and m consequence lower m prices. Pigs were also dull of sale, and those of coarse quality at nominal prioeß.
