Social Gathering.
i (Communicated.) A most enjoyable toa an entertainment was provided by the ladies of the congregation m the Wesleyun hall, Broad-street on Wednesday evening to which a large number of guests who were made heartily we lcome, enjoying as they did the liberal aud iuviting collation provided, the same being displayed to advantage amongst the prevailing fruits and flowers of the district. Ah usual on these occasions the visitors were favoured with several selections of whoice music admirably rendered by the well known musical talent of the church,intei spersed byseveralull-round sociable games m which the most fastidious would tjnd a difficulty to withstand the prevailing 1 good humour predominating and coining to the conclusion that such meetings under the supervision of the church are calculated to promote harmony and good feeling amongst its members, thereby tonding to tho highest expectation of the Christian mission.
