The ; Board may employ . as cadets pupils who haye. passed the fitth standard, and are ove)r 14 years ot age^ preparatory to their employment as pupil teachers m their respective classes, but will not recjeive any salavy. The instruc- 1 tion.toibe given b^'tqachei's for. such work i£ to be the same a.4 that provided |>y the Board's ; -regulations for pupil teachers, but "cadets will not be riequirad to teach more, than three c hjpurs m any school day. Before any^ p«pil jis a:cad;et the! teache* Inukc furnish ' the Board with' the full name, age 'and qualifications of thej candidate,.. ,2. The. following 1 [clauses; of'tnV" 'Regulations regifding 1 Pdpil Teachers}'": sUall -1 *pp.Lyi to viz., causes 8 f 9, 14, 15, .17 r 19V20J 31; S% and 26, except 'a'B Viregards the amount. pf.ren^uDeration.tp teachers for instruction given, which shall , be i! 3; per annum for each^ cadet, ( and a bonus of .£2 for each cadet ; who . successfully passes : t^ usual examination.
