The bank rate of discount remains at 5 per cent ; the market rate has farther fallen to, 3f. At to-day's wool sals, 9700 bales were offered, making a total of 77,000 catalogued since the opening of the series. 'Withdrawals amount to 7500 bales. Crossbreds are a shade firmer, but inferior and faulty wools generally are rather lower than at last sales. Good competition was experienced to-day.
