Melbourne, Oct. 23. Arrived,' this morning — Union steamship Ringaroomit, from the Bluff. The New Zealand Loan and Mer* cantile Agency Company (Limited) held their usual weekly wool sale today, when an important catalogue of some 2700 bales were offered, and 2000 sold. There was the usual large attendance of buyers. The market continues fairly -active, and competition was animated up to certain limits, but the owners' reserves were m several instances above the market value of the wool. Greasy merinos realised up to lid, and scoured wools to2o|d. ■•',
