The Nelson Madman.
(united pbi-ss association.) Kelson, Oct. 18. So far there is no word that Gibson, the escaped lunatic, has been captured. A great number have been out searching since yesterday morning, and the man's lair m home tall iern was dtsebvered. ' There they fouud a boot, which has been :. recognised as Gilson'B, and there were .some bags, a lot of bones, an iron bowl, a basket, some tea and sugar, and several loaves of bread. All the protection the man has had since his escape on the 18th September, and during 1 the most inclement weather, appears to have been, some bags, and he' docs not seem to have had a fire. Last nighc •volunteer patrols were on the gui vvoe, but some one entered the larder of a house near Bnghtwater. Buscn, the injured man, has rallied considerably/ The cough, owing to the injury pf the lungs, is the most distressing ttympton, but' this is lessening. VA .'!','< :■■■■ ■' ■."■- ' iLATKH..
