-. MESSRS BARNS AND HIGGIE'S REPORT. Mes&rs Barns and Higgle report that there was a good attendance at their Campbelltown sale yesterday, the weather being all that could be desired. Bidding was lively. Beef commanded good figures, the prices of late sales being fully maintained. Vendors, are, however, looking for high values. Cattle may be said to be slightly on the rise, and sheep about the same as last quotations. ■ ; • • Cattle— Fat cows, £4 ss, £4 17s, and £5 7s ; 3-year-old bullocks, £4 5s to £4 19s ; 2 and 2^-year old steers, £3 15s. A mixed lot of yearlings, 20 months, brought £2 10s ; milkers, L 4 to L 4 9s ; store cows, L 2 to L 2 3s ; yearlings LI 10s. Sheep — Fat wethers, 14s Id to 14s 6d ; good forward wethers, 11s 4d, 12s, 12s 2d ; ewes m lamb, 9s. Horses — We sold a few ; no demand for inferior. A good useful hack brought LlO, but business m this line is very dull.
