A six-foot reef has just been laid bare m the Excelsior CompanvV reef at Cedar Creek ; and a rough trial crushing from it on Saturday from it yielded a very payable result, m con, sequence of which there is a great deal of excitement. The reef at the prospectors' lease has been cut a lower level, and heavy gold has been struck, which is richer than anything that has been cot yet.
