THE SMALLPOX SCARE.
The medical officers declare ihat the cases at Mnlvern are chicken-pox and not small-pox. Considerable excitement has been caused here by three reported cases of smallpox at Mnlvern at Prahran, partially confirming the suspicion that the disease which caused the death sit the santorium of Ihe man Barker, was smallpox, although the medical officers considered his case doubtful.
