While this proves that newspaper advertisements are carefully perused, it also offers. the •onsoling reflection that lodgings m tbd city are not hard to obtain, and that a * comfortable, liome" for motherless children can be found without having recotnse to the wholesale * baby-farming" people, wit^ their 4ft\iel tender mercies,
