The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, 1 Limited/report as follows of the Sydney markets: — Wool. — The disappointing lone of the JLondon market, as . conveyed by recent, .Ciiblcv advices, has had a somewhat depressing effect here, nnd sales are only to he made by accepti ng f rpjn^ |d to fd per lb less than the rates lately rifling. .Asa consequence, considerable withdrawals have taken place, during the past fe\v day?. : Sheepskins. — rWe. have Jfco.ieport an. improved demand for all kinds, best selling readily at from 6d to 6|d per lb - Tallow.— A dull market. Sales at £33 per parcels of best mutton, and £31 10s fdi! best beef. .i . • • ' Butter. — The demand for prime New i Zealand continues; brisk, the: range of. prices being somewhat wide, viz., from 10d to 12d per lb. Second quality is, however, dull of sale at from 7d to 9d. We loot for still better figures at no di tant date. Oats.— Feed qualities have ( been ! m'ich easier, forced sales having been made oti' the. market sis'low ns 2s 7(1. We have, with; difficulty, placed a few parcels at 3s, which, at the moment, is top price for stout, bright feed qualities/ Good, clean, bright seed are enquired fox 1 , the market being bare of these descriptions.
