ACCLIMATIZATION SOCIETY.
At the meeting yesterday there were present Messrs Jenssen, Perkins, Nannestad, and H. J. Lloyd (Secretary.) It was resolved that a requisition be sent, to the Colonial Secretary, asking that the season for native game and hares should be opened imraedmtely, and for other imported game on Ist of April, to close on August 1, with the exception ofhares, which it was reccoivnuended should be shot till 30th September. No other business of any importance was transacted.
