Nelsok, Maroh 1, At the inquest held on the body of James Smith Furniss, who was found drowned this rooming, ih 0 following letter, posted yesterday evening to Mrs Furniss, and which was obtained from the post office, permission to that effect having been received from the widow m Wellington, vas read :— -" Mary, when ,you receive this -I wfll be no more. Sam r and Sarah . pre .. as Judas Isciriot.- 1 'They 'betrayed a man by saying -* WhomsoeVer : I pnfc: myfe^er on, take him.' J. forgive all yonr unj kindness to me."— (Signed) S. Fubniss." The jury returned a verdict of ? drowned whilst suffering from temporjaiy insanity. :
