MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE.
« L Herald.] Enquiries are being made by the police for a man named Thos. Nelson, who has been missing since the 3rd of January. Nelson, who is 67 years of age, was brought up for trial at the last sittings of the Supreme Court, m October, for attempting to commit suicide, but the grand jury found no bill against him, and he was consequently dismissed. The nrjßsinjpnan, a carpenter by trade, had,been out of 'work for some time, and was m lowspirits when last seen.
