A FATAL REMEDY.
A Najier paper contains the following. Some twelve months ago we republished from a Wang«nui paper a paragraph detailiag the wandortul effects produced by the use of castor oil on peach trees. The oil, it Fa/d, wa3 a certain cure for blight, it gave vigor to the tree, and improved the quality of the fruit. The recipe was naturally tried on their trees by soiuo of our renders m Napir, and Mr B. Warnes has kindly told us of the r< salt, namely, ! that it killed every tree upon which it was used. The • ff*ct was the s una m his neighbors' gar Jen«, and so we think we are quite safe m saving beware of castor oil. <>n your fu t trees.
