In addition to the force of 3000 men which will enbark for Tonquin within a week under General Millob another body of troops of the same strength will be despatched during the month of January. Toe Fotress at Bacnect will it is stated not be attacked until the arrival of these veinforcenienta Dec. 17. Despatches to hand from Tonquin state that 6000 French troops were being landed near Sontay, and^that an ■attac^upon^-lhat place is expected io be ma'de on the 12th inst. • ' The enemy is estimated as 30,000 strong. ;/ .:'■.". -.
