It cannot Ise denied thatthereeent crisis; has been felt by us, but with it all has been steacftly/j increasing, ! 'and 'tho circulation and influence of the journal both m town and country continually advancing. Our two ! editions daily have doubtless conttibitted'largely : to the rapid increase m circulation ; whil-h'du ling last quartef especially, hasi been brought about. WVdo notintendto ; abate our effqrfsin , the] 'iea'st m the future, and what energy and enterprise can achieve we will attain. Our grate, ful aaknowledgments are due to the public generally for the very liberal support extended, and we have no doubt? that Support will a be largely increased as time passes.
