H. Haybittle was chosen foreman, ,; Tliu claim was for damages on account of alleged illegal distraint for rent. filaintifi' admitted his indebtedness -for rent to the «urn of £100 only. The question of whether the distjess was illegal was a point of law which the Qonrt was asked to decide. 'The evidence taken was of no special inteirest. At the conclusion of the hearing 'judgment was given for £13 17s, no dbats being allowed.
