Itiniybe well for 'peraoiis who .are guilty of the practice of cruelty to animals to know that by the 10th clause of the Act for tho Preventjon of Cruelty to Animftla, 1880V they i&i-e liable to be arrested on sight of the offence by any constable without warrant or any other authority being required. -The following is the clause : — " Whenever any of tho offences against any of the provisions of this Act shall happen, any constable upon his own view thereof, shall, or upon the complaint of any other person, who shall declare his or her name and place- of abode to the said constable, may, take any such offender into custody, and forthwith, without any other authority or wairant,' coiivev him before a Justice of the Peace] to be dealt with by such Justice; for such oftence according to law."
