AFFAIRS AT THE CAPE.
SENTENCED TO DEATH.
Capetown, September 17. Intelligence has been received from the Transvaal that the native chiefs Mapoch and Marnpoer; ►leaders of tho rebellion against the Boers m the early part of this year, and who Subsequently were made prisoners, have' been tried at Pretoria, and sentenced to death.
